Dr. Timothy Monahan

Dr. Timothy Monahan was born in Washington, DC. He attended DeMatha High School in Hyattsville. His interest in health care began while serving as a Navy corpsman with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He continued his studies at Salisbury University, completing a bachelor's degree in biology. He later received a doctorate in podiatric medicine from Temple University.

He completed the surgical residency in foot and ankle reconstruction at Sheehan Memorial Hospital/SUNY Buffalo. Dr. Monahan is board certified in foot surgery. He has been in private practice since 1996 and holds surgical staff privileges at University of Maryland Shore Health.

He enjoys spending time with his family and dogs. He is an avid hunter and is active in the Maryland Masters Lacrosse League.

Dr. David Clarkson

Upon Graduation from High School Dr. Clarkson joined the Navy where he dedicated 8 years as a submariner. During his time in Service to our Country, Dr. Clarkson developed a passion for Science, so upon discharge he enrolled at William Patterson University in New Jersey where he majored in Biotechnology with a minor in Chemistry. During his time in College he would volunteer with his local ambulance squad and he was a combat Medic for the National Guard, which is where he developed a passion for helping people. It was at this time that he felt the Medical field would satisfy both of his passions those being helping people and Science. He enrolled at Temple school of Podiatric medicine, where he was Graduated and accepted into the Staten Island University Hospital Podiatric Residency Program.

During his time at William Paterson University, Temple University School of Podiatry and Staten Island University Hospital Dr. Clarkson continued to serve as a combat medic with the National Guard. While at Temple University School of Podiatry Dr. Clarkson worked for the Lion’s Eye Bank of Delaware Valley where he procured Cornea’s from donors for Cornea transplants. Prior to completing his Residency Dr. Clarkson, together with his wife, started looking for a permanent place to practice. He wanted to practice in a Rural Community with similar values to what he had growing up. He found this with Eastern Shore Family Footcare, which he joined in 2006. In his spare time Dr. Clarkson is an avid History buff who enjoys spending time with his family, visiting Historical locations and going to Disney World.
